Title of Workshop:
"Songs are probably the most effective
pedagogical tool available for language acquisition."
Description of Workshop:
In his workshop, Jacquot presents researches
which demonstrate and affirm the above. He then gives teachers the opportunity
to sing, move and participate. It is a truly hands-on, informative and
entertaining workshop. For teachers who use songs extensively with their
students, this workshop will affirm what they already do and know while
providing new ideas. For teachers who are not avid users of songs as part
of their teaching methods, this workshop will undoubtedly spark the desire
to do so, while at the same time showing how. Remember, one does
not have to be able to sing to use songs.
Number of participants:
Jacquot prefers at least 30 people and has presented
his workshop with great success to over 200.
